DNR Hosts Regional Air Issues Meeting

DES MOINES--The DNR will hold a meeting October 9th to provide interested stakeholders updates on regional air quality issues. The meeting will be held in the DNR Air Quality Bureau conference rooms located at 7900 Hickman Road Suite 1, Urbandale.

Topics include an update on Central States Regional Air Planning Association (CENRAP) activities, regulatory timelines and issues for regional pollutants such as ozone, haze and PM2.5, and technical updates on monitoring, emissions inventory, and modeling with an update on eastern Iowa ozone modeling. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. and will adjourn at 3:30 p.m.
