Title V Workshop Held in Conjunction with AWMA Meeting Tuesday, Sept 16
The Title V section of the Department of Natural Resources Air Quality Bureau will hold a training workshop on the Title V permitting process on Tuesday, September 16, at 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Amana Colonies Wasserbahn Water Park Resort. Topics will include changes to the application forms, emissions calculations, periodic monitoring, compliance assurance monitoring plans, and a summary of common application deficiencies. The compliance section will also review the semi-annual and annual Title V reporting forms and common errors found in the submittals. Bring your questions.
Following the workshop, at 6:30 p.m. the Air and Waste Management Association Meeting will feature a briefing on the PM 2.5 non-attainment designation for Muscatine and Scott Counties; a briefing on the status of the Boiler NESHAP and 112 (j) applicability; and a presentation of emissions data used in the development of National Association of Clean Air Agencies’ Boiler NESHAP Model Rule.
