Reminder of Upcoming Meeting for Development of Air Quality Plan

A meeting on the development of an Air Quality Plan will be held November 6, 2008 at the Air Quality Bureau offices from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. DNR Director Richard Leopold will start the meeting by sharing his vision of what the air quality plan will look like and how it will assist the department in accomplishing its mission. Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to identify key air quality issues and concerns and participate in the development of goals and objectives to meet those identified.

The Air Quality Plan is intended to address current and anticipated needs and issues related to air quality management in the state and to explain the Air Quality Bureau’s Strategic Plan to Iowa citizens. An agenda for the meeting is available at:
